Strong profit in quarterly results
Tata Steel recorded a strong profit in the first quarter of FY 2025-26. The company’s net profit was ₹ 2,007 crore, which has doubled from the same quarter last year. Revenue was ₹ 53,178 crore, which is 2.9% less on an annual basis.
Ebitda was ₹ 7,427 crore, which is 11% more than a year ago. The British unit’s revenue was recorded at £ 536 million, while the delivery stood at 0.60 million tonnes.
