RBI’s announcement of reducing interest rates strengthened the market sentiment and investors bought heavily. At the end of trading, BSE Sensex closed at 85,712.37, up 447.05 points or 0.52 per cent. Nifty closed at 26,186.45 with a rise of 152.70 points or 0.59 percent.
