
In the stock market today, on October 8, a tremendous rise was seen in some midcap and smallcap shares. On Wednesday, investors bought heavily in the shares of Brightcom Group, IFCI and Jai Corp, due to which their prices jumped by 11%. This rise has come after the change in the circuit limit of their shares. Stock exchanges have increased the maximum upper or lower limit (circuit limit) of daily fluctuations in these shares, thereby widening the trading range.
How much changed in which stocks?
According to the notification from the exchanges, the circuit limit of Brightcom Group has now been increased from 5% to 20%. Whereas the circuit limit of IFCI and Jai Corp was increased from 10% to 20%. After this change, strong buying was seen in these three shares today and investors created a race to take entry in them.
Shares of Jai Corp were among the top gainers of BSE Smallcap Index today. Shares of the company rose 13.75% to hit an intraday high of Rs 163.71 on NSE. Earlier this stock was in continuous decline for two days.
A tremendous rise was also seen in the shares of Brightcom Group. This share rose 15.79% to the level of Rs 15.11. The company’s shares opened with a rise of 7.28% today, registering a spectacular recovery after three days of decline.
At the same time, IFCI shares also remained strong. The stock rose 7.19% to ₹60.69. This rise was seen after two consecutive days of decline.
