Reliance Industries Agm 2025: Reliance Industries has announced to create a joint veneter with Facebook’s parent company Meta. This joint venture will work towards creating and scaling solutions related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) of companies in India. Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, announced this at the company’s 48th annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday 29 August. Describing this partnership as a “game changer”, he said that this cooperation will increase the pace of adopting AI not only in India but also in select international markets.
The initial investment in this joint venture will be around Rs 855 crore ($ 100 million). In this, Reliance Industries will have 70% stake while Meta will hold 30%. This transaction is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025, provided all regulatory approvals are found on time.
The partnership will use Meta’s advanced open-source LLAMA models, through which an enterprise AI platform-ej-e-service will be prepared in India. This platform will provide a safe, full-stack model, so that small and big institutions will be able to customize, deploy and control generative AI models according to their own.
Mukesh Ambani said that this step will provide access to every institution in India to enterprise-grade AI. Whether they are small and medium size institutions or large corporate houses. According to him, this venture will not only help companies bring rapid innovation but will also increase their efficiency and make them competitionable at global level.
The joint venture plans to provide AI solutions already prepared for various fields. These will include cross-functional use such as sales, IT, customer service and finance as well as sector-specific solutions such as health, education and retail. Due to the wide scope in Reliance’s industries and small businesses, these AI solutions can be made available on a large scale and affordable rates.
Under this joint venture, companies and organizations will also be provided pre-configuration AI solutions which will be prepared not only according to general business needs but also according to sector-specific demands. This will include smart AI tools for major sectors like sales, IT, customer service, finance. Given the deep access to various industries and small businesses of Reliance Industries, this joint venture has targeted to provide Enterprise-Grade AI solutions at a large scale and highly affordable prices.
Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Meta, described the partnership as “a big step towards making Meta’s LLAMA models into real use”. He said, “The purpose of Meta is to deliver personal superintendents to everyone. With the reach and scale of Reliance, we can take AI to every corner of India.”
